Bass Strait Victoria

Our primary focus is on harnessing Australia's highest quality offshore wind resource in Bass Strait

This world-class wind resource is located close to Victoria's major electricity demand centre in water depths only accessible to floating platform wind turbines.

Mistral Energy has identified three wind farm locations where it seeks to install a total capacity of 11 GW over 10 years with the initial phase totalling 2.5-3.5  GW.

Newcastle and Illawarra NSW

NSW has limited access to fixed platform opportunities but offers high quality wind resources in floating platform water depth

Mistral Energy has identified prospective wind farm locations in NSW waters.  Our primary focus is on Bass Strait, however if licence area releases limit portfolio build capacity in Victoria, we will seek to develop target capacity across multiple States.

Perth and Kwinana
WA

WA also offers high quality wind resources in both fixed and floating platform depth waters

Mistral Energy has identified a prospective floating wind farm location in WA waters that could serve network and  industrial opportunities close to the Perth/Kwinana population and demand centre.
